CRICUT 360º - Challenge # 1 - Invitation

Good morning everyone! Finally the day has arrived and we are here with our First challenge, but before we start, we want you to read the rules in order to participate in our challenges. To read those rules, you may click HERE.

CHALLENGE # 1

• Are you ready for our first challenge?... Design an invitation. Any kind of invitation will do. To the movies, to the fair, to play cards, etc, etc...

• You must use any Cricut or Imagine cartridge and you can add a touch of Cuttlebug too.

• Link it Up by Wednesday (closes at midnight)

• Estan listas para nuestro primer reto?... Diseña una invitacion. Puede ser cualquier clase de invitacion. A tomar el té, a jugar cartas, al cine, etc, etc...

• Pueden usar cualquier cartucho de Cricut o Imagine y le pueden agregar un toque de Cuttlebug tambien.

• Vincula tu diseño antes de la media noche de el Miercoles.

Is getting closer!!!, the launch of Cricut 360º challenge blog is just a week away and you do not want to miss the challenges we have planned. Hello there! Time to meet Diana. She is a very talented crafter and we are very happy to have her with us and best of all, we may be able to meet and craft together. Diana! I didn't know you lived in Miami!!! We got to get together and scrap away!!! :) lol

Hi Everyone,

My name is Diana and I live in Miami, Florida with my wonderful fiancé. I am 41 years old and I work full-time as an Administrative Assistant. I have been paper crafting now for a little over a year and I started my blog at the beginning of this year. Although I have always been very creative and crafty, I have found my true passion through paper crafting. I purchased my Cricut Expression in October 2009 after being laid off from a company that I really loved working for over the past 11 years. While un-employed I saw many late night infomercials on the Cricut Expression and was marveled at all it was able to do. So I knew I had to have one, regardless of being unemployed. The funny thing is it sat in my closet un-opened for 4 months..gasp!! Can you imagine?! However, once I opened it up and started using my Cricut, I became totally addicted! Throughout the past year, I have been lucky enough to add the Cuttlebug and the Gypsy to my list of tools. Not to mention, over 60 cartridges! Yes, you can say I am a bit addicted :0) The joy I receive from creating a one of a kind card, layout or project is beyond words. I never imagined how much joy and happiness owning this machine would bring me. Not to mention, all the wonderful people I would get to know throughout this growing paper crafting community. I am super excited to be part of the new 360 Cricut Design Team. I hope that by sharing my creations I can inspire many, as so many of you have done the same for me. Looking forward to all the fun and I can’t wait to get started!

CRICUT 360º - Meet the DT - Lisa Blastick

Just got out of work and I am ready to introduce our next DT member Lisa. She is an amazing crafter. Her layouts are stunning and she has wonderful tutorials in her blog. We love to have her in our team.

Hello, I am a huge addicted scrapbooker. I started my first page in the beginning of May 2006. {I did take off 6 months for family the first year.} Since then, I have finished many albums. Of course, I am soon finding out there is no finishing! lol I have been published with scrapbooks etc, upcoming creating keepsakes issues, and online scrapbooking magazines. I am also a DT member of Canada's SCRAP THAT! kit and now with Cricut 360! I am a married mother of four teenagers!!! I have two girls, twin sons, and two Italian Greyhounds. I have been an RN for the past 15 years in the operating room. I like my job but I much rather be scrapbooking full time!.... Thanks for stopping by!

CRICUT 360º - Meet the DT - Darlene Saucier

Good morning! Today we want you to meet Darlene. She is one amazing crafter and we are very proud to have her in out team.

Hi fellow craft-a-holics!! My name is Darlene and I live in South Louisiana. I am a wife to a wonderful hubby of almost 17 years (he is slowly learning that crafting makes me very happy!), 2 beautiful daughters and 1 fur baby, Maggie the cat. I work part time as the assistant director of my church preschool (240 little ones!) So when I do have some free time, you can find me in my scraproom using all my awesome Cricut toys. I started with a Create, and the Expression and now I am the proud momma to a Cuttlebug, Gypsy, E2 and an Imagine. I started scrapbooking a few years ago and last summer I discovered the blogging world and started making cards. I like to wake up early so I can spend time reading blogs and discovering awesome inspiration. I would not be as good a scrapper/card maker without my wonderful cricut machines.

Hello My name is Kim Caudill aka My Crafting Creations. I am 41 years old. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I love making cards and scrapbooking. I will try to alter anything. I have one daughter that is 20 years old. I purchased my Cricut Expression last year. My secret is that I am always buying new products that come out and trying them out. Just in one year time I have enough to fill up a craft room. CRICUT 360º - Meet the DT - Jo Schlanker

Hello everyone! Time to meet Jo Schlanker, another one of our fabulous designers. We love her style and are extremely happy to have her in our DT. Welcome Jo... :)

Hi, my name is Jo and I live in a small town in central Missouri with my husband, daughter and seven dogs. I spend my days as the bookkeeper for a public school district. I’m also a member of Rotary International and the accounting chairperson for an American Cancer Society Relay for Life committee. Whenever I have a little free time, I can usually be found in my craft room working on a project or in front of my computer looking for ideas for my next project.

While I've been crafting for years, I didn't start making cards until after I received my Cricut Expression as a Christmas gift in 2008. Since then, cardmaking has become my passion! In May of 2009, I started my blog and have had a wonderful time meeting new friends and sharing the love of crafting. I’ve also had the privilege of being a member of the first My Pink Stamper design team.

I’m very excited to be a part of the Cricut 360 Challenge Blog and can’t wait to see what everyone creates … we’re going to have a blast!

Heading for work in a bit, but before I go, I wanted to leave this post for you to meet Stacey. She is one amazing card maker, her eye for color is magnificent and we are very excited to have her with us.

My name is Stacey and I am a very proud Navy wife and mom to 2 awesome teenagers. My family supports my paper crafting hobby 100% and are my biggest fans. I love to create things for them. I have been papercrafting since Dec. 2005. I started out scrapbooking and then slowly got into card making. I have recently discovered that I love to alter things also. Whether it is clipboards, jars, picture frames, etc. I guess I just love to play with paper :)
